OBITUARY JOSEPH KANO August 25, 1924 - August 5, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Kano on Sunday August 05, 2007. Beloved husband to Jeannette (Khayat). Devoted father and father-in-law to Karim (Elizabeth), Bassim (Rosi) and Dina (Gabriel Tanbourgi). Cherished and adored grandfather to Ralph, Natalie, Joseph, Audrey, Alexandra and Nicolas. He will also be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters Victor, Kanaan, Yvonne, Violette and Catherine. Special thanks to the exceptional doctors and nurses at the Oncology Department at the Jewish General Hospital for their love and care. Condolences will be accepted and viewing will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Montreal, Quebec H2V 2P9, 514-279-6540 on Tuesday August 7 from 7pm to 10pm and Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 10pm. Burial will take place on Thursday August 9 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be made in his memory to the Syriac Orthodox Church or to the Oncology Department at the Jewish General Hospital.
