MACDONALD, Josephine "Josie" (nee Dean). After a lengthy illness at St. Mary's Hospital on August 6, 2007 at the age of eighty-nine years. Josie leaves to mourn, devoted companion of 28 years, Arthur Beaton. Mother of Sam (Hillary) Hughes of Blackpool, England. Survived by brothers Lyman (Dorothy), Neil (Roxie), sisters Mabel Baker, Shirley (Don) Powers and sister-in-law Joyce Dean along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Oakey and Barney and sisters Florence, Kathleen and Jessie. Resting at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St. W. Visitation on August 8, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Complete funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Thursday August 9 at 11 a.m. Published in the Montreal Gazette from 8/7/2007 - 8/8/2007
