Joan MARBLE

PRESCOTT, Joan Marble. Seventy-eight, of Woodcliff Drive, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 2, 1929, daughter of the late Dean G. and Anne (Kilborn) Marble. Joan lived in Ottawa, Ontario while attending Lisgar College and graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Joan married William H. Prescott on May 1, 1954 and resided in Keeseville, NY. Joan was pre-deceased by her husband, William H. Prescott and her son, Stephen H. Prescott. Joan is survived by two sons, William D. and his wife Pamela Prescott of San Ramon, California and their children, Ashley and Shannon, Drew A. and his wife Karen Prescott of Niskayuna, New York and their children, Drew Jr., Barbara and Luke, a daughter, Susan and her husband Robert Buck Jr. of Argyle, New York and their children, Anne, Abigail and Catherine. Survivors also include sister-in-law, Nancy B. Prescott of Keeseville, NY and a niece, Diana Prescott Zaise of Needham, Massachusetts. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. from St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Keeseville. Burial will be private. Donations in Joan's memory may be made to Northern New York Center, 63 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, New York 12901. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh.
