WHITEHURST, Lorna (Enid) (nee Ham) December 8, 1926-August 5, 2007 Peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Healthcare Centre on August 5, 2007; in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Edward (Ted) Whitehurst. Dearest mother of Morey (Ted Fenwick), Laurie (Robert Goodfellow), and Kerrie (Doug Morris). Proud and loving Grandma of Paul (Kerstie), Keith, Kristin, and Alex. Predeceased by her brother, Norman Ham of Calgary. She will also be greatly missed by many friends and relatives. The family extends special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and care staff on the 5th floor of The Ottawa Hospital (General Campus) and Elisabeth Bruyere Healthcare Centre for the compassionate care they provided. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at Beechwood Cemetery on Friday August 10 from 1 to 3 pm. A graveside service will follow for those wishing to attend.
