FRANCIS, Gertrude. From Edmonton, AB, passed away peacefully on August 3 at the age of eighty-four years. Gert (nee Kerr) was born in Montreal and spent most of her life there until moving to Edmonton in 1991. She was predeceased by her special and dear son Leslie, partner Damien (Danny) Martin and husband Jack Francis. She leaves behind to be lovingly remembered by daughters Lynn Twible of Florida, Joan (Brian) Hart of LaSalle and Karen (Jim) Stuart of Edmonton, as well as grandchildren Kim, AJ, Jennifer, Tracy, Kristy and Danny and her great grandchildren Liam, Grant, Merrick and Jesse. She was an inspiration to her family and to all who knew her. She will remain in their hearts forever. A Celebration of Gertrude's Life will take place on Thursday, August 9 in Edmonton.
