McALEER, Irene Patricia. Passed away peacefully at the Montreal Extended Care Center on August 7, 2007 at the age of seventy-seven. Daughter of the late Ellen Reiber and Bernard Peter McAleer. Beloved sister of Henry and Theresa. Sister of the late Bernie, Pat, Gerald, John, Mike and Dan. Beloved sister-in-law to Murielle, Norman and Jeannine also the late Ivy, Juliette and Ross. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. A very special "THANK YOU" to Carol McAleer for all her love and support towards Irene. We are still not sure how she always seemed to make Irene smile and laugh. Special "thanks" to Belle and Wally Kelly and friends and staff at the Care Center for the compassion and love shown towards Irene. Irene loved her Bingo games and outings, so please do not send flowers. A donation to Montreal Extended Care Center, Recreation Dept, 5155 Ste-Catherine East, Montreal, Qc. H1V 2A5, would be appreciated, so others may continue to enjoy these activities too.
