Boris PODYMOW

PODYMOW, Boris. August 7, 2007, after a brief illness, in his eighty-second year. Devoted husband of the late Valentina. Much loved father of Andrew and his fiancee Eugenia. Cherished brother and brother-in-law to Oleg and Anneli Podymow, beloved uncle of Tiina and Eric. Heartfelt thanks to his dear neighbors, the Zarzour family for their friendship, as well as to the staff of the Lakeshore Hospital and Manoir Pierrefonds for their care. Boris will be remembered for his kind and gentle soul and for his work and devotion to St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral. The funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral on Friday, August 10 at 7 p.m. at 422 St. Joseph Blvd. West in Outremont. Burial at Holy Trinity Monastery, Jordan Ville, NY, on Saturday, August 11 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral in his memory.
