MEROVITZ, Mel Samuel. After a short illness on Friday, August 10, 2007. Beloved husband for sixty-one years of Pearl Goldbach. Loving father and father-in-law of Lisa Schwartz and the late Michael Merovitz, Phyllis and Keith Baxter, Judy Merovitz and Ken Morton, Barry Merovitz, and Steven Merovitz. Devoted grandfather of Scosha, Sorrel, Aaron, Zachary, Laura, Joanna, and Sarah. Adoring great grandfather of Rha, and Malou. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Ann Albert, Edith and Leonard McKinley and predeceased by his five sisters Ethel, Lil, Bertha, Ida and Gertie. Dear brother-in-law of Myrtle Stark, Miriam Hanek, Norma and Henry Botner, and Roslyn Chapel. He was an adored uncle and good friend to so many, He will be missed. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Monday, August 13 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Chomedey Congregation Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay.
