LANCASTER, Robert "Sam" Peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the Ottawa General Hospital. Beloved long-term partner of Joan Kelly. Loving brother of Douglas (June), Carole (Doug), Linda (Bruce), Nora and Susan (Gordon). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and his two best buddies: Bosox and Fenway. Joan would like to thank the doctors and staff of the General Hospitals ICU Unit. As per Sam's request, there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. Interment of cremated remains will be on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at St. James Cemetery in Carleton Place at 12 p.m. Followed by a reception at Joan's house in Orleans from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or the Ottawa Humane Society.
