Shirley Joyce Oliverio (née Reading) January 20, 1950 - August 10, 2007 It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family announces the death of Shirley Oliverio at the early age of 57. Shirley died Friday after a courageous battle with extended illness. Shirley will be forever loved and mourned by her extended family and her loving husband Angelo and children Rick, Lisa and Dan Davidson, Anna and Joe and grandchildren Matthew, Lucas, and Landon. Predeceased by her father Edward Reading and survived by her mother, Eileen Reading and brothers and sisters, Bill and Donna Reading, Marilyn and Rick Scott, Fred and Sharon Reading, Lana and Amedeo Capoferri, Randy Reading, David Reading, Shari and Mario Benoit, Anna Oliverio (mother-in-law), Joe Oliverio, Rocco and Kim Oliverio, Nella Bradt, Maria Roman, Yola and Lenny Senia, Vonda Van Zeben. She also had many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. Our heartfelt thanks go to the nurses and doctors at Henderson Hospital who looked after her, especially in the ICU. Your care and compassion for Shirley, and our family at this time were greatly appreciated. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Monday, August 13 and Tuesday, August 14 from 5-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be at St. Patrick's Church on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre will be appreciated by the family. We will miss her forever and feel a void in our lives until we see her again in heaven.
