ORAM, BERTHA IRENE - After a lengthy illness, it is with great sadness that the family of Bertha Irene Oram of Saint John, NB, wife of William Joseph Oram, announces her passing on Monday, August 13, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 9, 1930 in White's Cove, NB she was a daughter of the late John and Edith (Nash) Marsh. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bertha is survived by her husband, William; four children: Michael, Patrick (Paulette) and Daniel (Janice) Oram, and Mary Jane (Michael) McGrath, all of Saint John; two brothers: Ralph (Shirley) Marsh of Elliott Lake, ON and Jack (Helen) Marsh of Quispamsis; five grandchildren: Sean, Jeremy, Danielle, Jonathan and Chantal; one great-grandson, Cameron; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister, Harriet McKay. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Peter's Church, Clarendon St., Saint John on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
