Steve Istvan Istvanov August 19, 1943 - August 12, 2007 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Steve, in his 64th year, surrounded by his family at the Henderson Hospital on August 12, 2007. Adored husband of Marta for 38 years. Cherished father of Christina, Steve and his wife Csilla. Dear son-in-law of Andras and Marta Csorba of Burlington. Son of the late Janos and Agnes Istvanov. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Joseph (Borballa) Magdalena (John), all of Hungary, as well as Andrew of Burlington. Steve will be sadly missed by many nieces, cousins and friends. Steve was an honoured parishioner of St. Stephen of Hungary parish and as a proud employee of Coca Cola in Hamilton for 28 years. Special thanks to the staff at 3F at the Henderson Hospital and to Dr. Fraser for their excellent care. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stephen of Hungary Church on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or St. Stephen of Hungary Parish would be appreciated by the family.
