Carmela Finelli (née Capobianco) April 19, 1922 - August 16, 2007 Peacefully after a courageous battle with breast cancer on Thursday, August 16, 2007 Carmela Finelli in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Michelangelo Finelli. Beloved and cherished mother of Maria (Claudio) Bagliolid, Antoinette (Norman) Walker and Tony (Nancy)Finelli. A loved grandmother of Robert (Kim) Bagliolid, Patricia (Joe) Chiarelli, Stephanie Finelli and Michael Finelli and her great grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters Elisa Pepe and Donata Sbrocchi and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Randy Cross, The staff and residents of the Village Manor, Waterdown, the staff of the Juravinski Cancer Centre. the V.O.N. especially Nella and Rev. Father Joseph Durkacz of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Waterdown. Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St., N., Waterdown on Sunday, August 19th, afternoon 2-4 p.m. & evening 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST THOMAS THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 715 Centre Rd., Waterdown on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 10 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.Prayer Vigil will be held Sunday evening at 8:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
