Deborah (Debbie) A. Messer 1970-2007 Deborah (Debbie) A. Messer 37 of Riverview, with her loving family by her side passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, August 16, 2007 following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, Debbie was the daughter of Jim and Annie (Pitman) Watson of Moncton. Debbie was employed as executive secretary at Atlantic Waffles Ltd. and was a member of Humphrey Memorial United Church of which she served in various capacities in past years. She was Past Worthy Advisor of Westmorland Assembly #23 International Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was rewarded the Grand Cross of Color, the highest honor a Rainbow Girl can receive. Debbie's various hobbies included working with crafts, painting, card making and time with friends and most importantly, her family. Besides her parents, Debbie will be sadly missed by her husband of 6 years, Jim Messer; brothers, Jim Watson (Susan), Riverview; Brian Watson (Diana), Eckville, AB; several nieces and nephews. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service at Humphrey Memorial United Church, Massey Ave., Monday, August 20, 2007, 1:30pm; Rev. Dr. Andrew Richardson, Rev. Gayle MacDonald officiating; Reception in the Church Hall following the service; Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Debbie's memory, donations to Friend's of The Moncton Hospital (Extra Mural or Oncology Unit) would be appreciated.
