GRYP Albert Alfred - 89 years Born August 14, 1918 in Raleigh Twp., Passed away Sunday August 19, 2007 at Chatham- Kent Health Alliance. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie (Hardy) 2006. Dear father of Tom & wife Linda Gryp of Merlin, Nancy & Thom Halliday of Comber, Richard Gryp and partner Venita Bellamy of Stoney Point. Predeceased by his daughter Debbie Gryp 1998, and son Michael Gryp 1973. Dear Grandpa of Bill Richie, Bryan Gryp, and Tony Reed. Great Grandpa of Ayden Reed. Dear brother of Glen Gryp of Chatham. Predeceased by his siblings Alfred Gryp 1993, and Angela Wallace 2002. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert served Five years in the Canadian Armed Forces during World War II in England and Europe. In the late 1940's He established the first Kent County School Bus Runs for Merlin High School. He also was a founding member of the Merlin Royal Canadian Legion Br. 465. Arrangements entrusted to the SECORD & SMITH FUNERAL HOME 8 Aberdeen St. Merlin, 519-6894261. Cremation at Windsor Memorial Gardens. A Family graveside service to held Wednesday August 22, 2007 at 1:30 PM in the Merlin Cemetery with Rev Lloyd Brown officiating.
