SPITTAL, John Robert Sr. “CAPTAIN“. Peacefully, at home in his sleep Saturday, August 18, 2007. John is survived by his loving mother Enid Spittal and by his sister Joan (Rob) Allison. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children John and LeeAnn Spittal and Charlene and Lloyd Cichocki Jr. Proud grandfather of three beautiful granddaughters Caitlin, Alexis, and Hayleigh. John was an honourary Lowbanks firefighter and volunteered for services for 25 years. John will be remembered by co- workers from Crossman Arms, IMC and Eggers. A frequent customer at Chambers Corners, Donut Diner, John will be missed by his many friends he met there. A graveside interment service will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Wainfleet on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. those wishing to join the family are welcome to do so.
