THOMPSON, Doris Ellen Pearl - “Aunt” Doris Ellen Pearl Thompson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Campbellford Memorial Hospital, on Monday, August 20, 2007, in her 85th year. Doris was the daughter of Ken and Evva (Smith) Thompson. Sadly missed by brother Ralph (Ruth) of Springbrook, Ontario and sister Eleanor (Mike, deceased) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Roy Thompson. Loved by nieces and nephews, Harold (Terry) Graham of Eden Mills, Ontario; Paul (Gail) Graham and David Graham of Sylvan Lake, Alberta; Darlene Legree of Whitby, Ontario; Helen Anne (Lloyd) Acorn of Springbrook, Ontario; Karen (Larry, deceased) Thompson of Pembroke, Ontario; and John Graham, deceased. Special Aunt of several grand- nieces and nephews. Doris spent her working life teaching elementary school in Hastings County and North York. She enjoyed reading, gardening and church and community events. Service of remembrance will take place at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, Marmora, on Saturday, August 25 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment of cremated remains at Mont Nebo Cemetery, Springbrook.
