DOUGLAS, Elizabeth “Betty“ Margaret (nee Bell) - Born July 28, 1910 promoted to glory August 20, 2007 in her 98th year, was the beloved wife of the late William John Douglas. Loving mother of June and her husband Peter Rea of Uptergrove, step- mother of Robert John Douglas and his wife Wanda of Guelph and William Nelson Douglas (deceased) and his wife Shirley Douglas. Loving grandmother of Andrew Rea and his wife Leah of Long Point, Daniel Rea of Uptergrove, Janet and her husband Frank Allsopp of Calgary. Marcia Douglas and David Martel of Pickering, Robert Douglas and his wife Linda of Guelph, Lynda and her husband Geoff Wood of Brantford and great grandmother of Carter and Mason Rea, Blythe and Bryan Allsopp, Michelle and Robert Douglas. Dear sister of Helen Johnston of Lindsay, Lillian and her husband Orville Rickard, Jean and her husband Don Clouston all of Kirkfield, Irene Henderson of Peterborough and predeceased by her brothers William, Stewart and Mack Bell and by her sisters Hazel Fegan and Mary Russell. Family and friends were invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME, 24 Mill St., Lindsay on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Friday, August 24 at FAIR HAVENS COMMUNITY CHURCH in Bolsover from 12:30 PM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment Lake View Cemetery, Kirkfield. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Fenelon Court for their compassionate care during Betty's stay.
