GILBY, Marjorie - Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 of heart failure after a full and active 92 years. Predeceased by her husband of 56 years Norman (2000). Dear mother of Joyce Hitchman (John) of Thunder Bay, Trish Harris (Carl) of Barrie and Norma Downs (John) of Toronto. Loving Grandmother of Dave, Kathy, Rob (Predeceased 1991), Andrew and Jeff. Great Grandmother of Genna, David, Steven and Brooke. Dear sister of Bill Howe of Barrie and the late Percy Howe. Marjorie was an active member of the Lioness Club for 62 years and gave many volunteer hours to CNIB, CCB Club and Meals on Wheels both in Barrie and Thunder Bay. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home (Clapperton & Worsley Streets), Barrie after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2007 until a time of celebration of her life at 3:00 p.m. Cremation.
