LANDRY, Violette (Lafrenière) - It is with great sadness that the family of Violette announce her passing on Friday August 24, 2007 in her 68th year. Dearly loved wife of Gaetan, cherished mother of Joanne Spence (Derek) of St Catharines, dear sister of Adrien (Solange), Fernand (Rachel), Jacques (Carmen), Réjeanne Pâquin (André) and Odette Robitaille (Pierre-Paul). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Ashley, Chelsea and Sierra as well by many nieces and nephew. Violette was predeceased by her son Daniel (2004), her parents Henri and Florence and by her brothers and sisters Paul-Emile, Anita, Lucien, Thérèse and Hervé. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday in Église Sacré Coeur at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. A vigil for Violette will be celebrated Sunday evening at 8 pm. If desired donations to Niagara Peninsula Children Center will be appreciated by the family. 10799885
