TROBRIDGE, Viola “Nanny“ - Peacefully passed away at the Hotel-Dieu Shaver Hospital on August 27, 2007. Loving spouse and soul mate of her late husband Chuck. Loving mother of Paulette, Charles Jr, and Jody. Nanny will be sadly missed by all of her grandchildren and very special great grandchildren. Vie was a graduate nurse from Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. She worked for a number of years as a Registered Nurse and then became more involved in helping other by dedicating over 50 years of volunteer service for many organizations and associations in the Niagara area. She touched the lives of many as she became known as “Nanny“ to all the children in their neighbourhood. As per Nanny's wishes there will be no visitation or service, cremation has taken place. A special thank you to CCAC, Pro Wellness Health Care, and all the very special staff at of the Hotel- Dieu Shaver Hospital for all of their dedication, care and compassion. It was through the help that allowed Nanny to pass with dignity and respect. In memory of Nanny, donations to the Hotel-Dieu Shaver Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the HULSE AND ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346). Nanny has gone someplace beautiful. A place where pain and sadness don't exist. A place where together with Bubbie, they can love and guide us through our journey of life. And in return, we will hold the legacy of their love that they have given us, in our heart forever. 10804298
