NOXEL, Lewis - of Welland, at the Welland Hospital, on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at age 76. Beloved husband of Barbara Noxel (nee, Murphy). Loving father of Jim Noxel (Cheryl) of Port Colborne. Cherished grandfather of Chelsey & Amanda. Dear brother of Marie Bell (Norman), Marguerite Hebert and Harold Noxel (Edna), son-in-law of Hazel Murphy and brother-in-law of Claude Murphy, Frank Murphy, Earl Murphy, Ronald Murphy (Sue), Edward Murphy (Twyla), Daniel Murphy (Shirley), Marion Plante and Marie Gosselin. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Whitmore & Henrietta Noxel, brothers Jack, George & Homer, sisters Alice, Myrtle, Florence, May, Betty & Helen and father-in- law Lawrence Murphy. Mr. Noxel was employed as a tool setter with General Motors for 33 years retiring in 1994. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Tuesday, August 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Reverend Doctor John Course of St. David's Anglican Church will conduct the funeral service on Wednesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cudney Chapel. Cremation will follow. Interment of cremated remains in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. 10800048
