WALKER, Helen Elizabeth. It is with great sadness that the family of the Helen Walker announces her passing on Thursday August 30, 2007 at the Welland County General Hospital in her 90th year. Dearly loved mother of Carol Ann Jones (Tom) of Welland and Marie Mirrlees (Gerry Brown) of Niagara Falls. Loving grandmother of Lori Muileboom (Mike) of Ridgeway, Jeff Mirrlees (Colleen) of Bolton, Dean Jones (Lesley) of Welland and Lynn Nyman (David) of Maple Ridge, B.C. Special great grandmother to Paige, Hannah and Zoe Muileboom, Kenyon and Tenzin Nyman and Wyatt Jones. Beloved sister of Pat Hamilton and Doris Quigley of Cobourg. Loving friend of Bill Toth of North Tonawanda. Predeceased by her parents Herb and Elizabeth Minor of Cobourg, brothers Francis and Earl, her sister Noreen McMahon, her brothers-in-law Earl Hamilton, Irie Quigley and Bud McMahon and a great granddaughter Hope Muileboom. She was a dedicated volunteer driver for the past 20 years for the Canadian Cancer Society and the Red Cross. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in the Cobourg area and many great friends. The Walker family will receive visitors at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES 135 Clarence St. on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday September 4, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Jack Neil officiating.
