LEMARQUAND, Isabella Bruce - Passed away peacefully at the Van Daele Nursing Home on August 15, 2007. Isabel was a proud Canadian who came to Canada in 1946 as a Scottish war bride to build her life and family with her husband Mel. Isabel was predeceased by her brothers John and Willie Currie and is survived by her brother Alex Currie (Betty). Isabel is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Mel and her three children, Elaine (Tom), Derek and Glenda (Owen). Isabel was grandmother to Stephanie, Matthew and Erin Potter, Joel and James LeMarquand and Alex and Patrick Heeps. Isabel had one great granddaughter, Sofie, she had yet to meet. Isabel had a way of lighting up a room. Her smile was contagious. She enjoyed dancing and singing and loved to party with her many friends over the years. We will miss you, Mom. “Wee Doech an Doris“.
