SMITH, Mildred Laureen - Peacefully with family by her side at the Roberta Place in Barrie on Sunday, August 19th, 2007. Mildred (nee McLean) of Ivy in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken Smith. Dear mother of Laureen Motz (David Gosney) of Barrie, Helen Williams (Doug) of Deseronto and the late Larry Smith and his surviving wife Dianne Royal of Creemore. Loving grandmother of Kim Henry (Rob), Cheryl Stephenson (Ryan), Kevin Smith (Julia) and Shelley Pierce (Tim). Great- grandmother of Kaitlyn & Braeden Henry, Joel & Madeline Stephenson, Larry & Ellen Smith and Taylor & Liam Pierce. Sadly missed by her brother Douglas McLean (Lila) and by her sister Evelyn Bowen (Keith). Friends may call at the Jennett Chapel of the McCLELLAND & SLESSOR Funeral Home, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Christ Church/St. Judes Anglican Church in Ivy on Wednesday, August 22nd at 1:00 p.m. Interment Christ Church/St. Judes Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Christ Church/St. Judes, Parkinson Foundation or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
