WERKMEISTER, Ludwig - At the Northland Point Manor, Port Colborne on Saturday August 18, 2007, Mr. Werkmeister in his 81st year. Loving father of Richard (Beverly) Werkmeister and Carol Werkmeister both of Welland, dear brother of Ernie, Emma, Hilda(Whit), Hedwig, Mary, Frances (Paul), Luisa. Brother in law of Velma, he will be sadly missed by his step grandchildren Devon and Donald as well by his many nieces, nephews and his loyal companion Hugo. Pre deceased by his parents Rosa and Ludwig and his brother Joe. Mr. Werkmeister was successful business man in Welland owning and operating Ludi's Steak house and Welland Vending for many years. He was also a member of the Welland Club. Following Ludwig's wish cremation has taken place. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date in Doan's Ridge Cemetery.
