Sophia M. Wilt Sophia M. Wilt 77, of Berryton with her family at her side passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday August 24, 2007 after a brief illness. Born in Brown's Yard, she was the daughter of the late William and Euphemia (Cail) McKillop. Sophia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed traveling, music, fishing, skiing, knitting, walking along rivers and beaches but first and foremost was her love for her family and quality time with her grandchildren. Sophia will be sadly missed by her daughters, Shelley (Dale), Carol (Gabriel), Darla (Allan) all of Moncton; sons, Fred (Janet), Wayne, Donald, all of Moncton; Darrell (Joan) of Mount Uniacke, NS; several grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Robert McKillop (Margaret), Amherst, NS, Hugh McKillop (Sylvia), Saint John, Lloyd McKillop, Pine Ridge, Graham McKillop (Joyce), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Laurence (August 27, 1998); her son, Blair (July 26, 2007); brothers, Charles, James, Aubrey, Edward and Phillip; sisters, Sybil, Eliza, and Ella. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Monday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service for Sophia and Blair at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Browns Yard, Tuesday August 28, 2007, 2pm, Rev. John Pierce officiating. Interment, Church Cemetery.
