SANDERSON, PHYLLIS S. The passing of Phyllis Sadie Sanderson of Grand Bay-Westfield and formerly of Fredericton passed away Sunday, August 26th , 2007. She was 80. Born August 24th , 1927 in St. John's Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Annie (House) Sweetapple. She is survived by her nine children, Bert Worthen (Nancy) of Fredericton, Carol Johnson of Trenton, NS, David Worthen (Vivian) of BC, Wanda Hachey (Gerry) of Fredericton, Debbie Clements (George) of Fredericton, Bobby Worthen (Margie) of Trenton, NS, Tammy MacKinnon (Jim) of Fredericton, Gail Farrell (Mike) of Fredericton and Sandy Sanderson (Kari) of Edmonton, Alberta; 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Hill of St. John's , Newfoundland, Pearl Burke of San Francisco, USA and Daphanie Grouchy of St. John's, Newfoundland; nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Bert H. Worthen; her second husband Robert (Sandy) Sanderson; a brother Ross Sweetapple; a sister Ruby Sweetapple and a granddaughter Candy Scott. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Wednesday, August 29th , 2007 from 7-9 PM. There will be no funeral service by request of the family. Memorials to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
