Robert (Bob) A. Masters Robert (Bob) A. Masters, 82 of Moncton, with his family at his side passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Edith (Ward) Masters. Bob was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces (1954 - 1975) with 22 years service, having served in Germany, Korea and Canada. He was a Volunteer Fireman # 4 Hose Company, Corp of Commissaires for several years, Past President Branch # 6 Royal Canadian Legion, Machinist Helper CNR Roundhouse and a Life Member Air Force Club. Bob will be sadly missed by his daughters, Linda MacLean (Mike), Halifax, NS, Chrystal Allen (David), Lower Sackville, NS; sons, Gregory (Maryann), Mississauga, ON, Christopher (Diane), Amherst, NS, Nicholas (Irene), Moncton; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his former wife Isabel; sisters, Kay Deware, Pat Carter (Harold), both of Moncton, Audrey Gagne (Marcel), Montreal; brother, Harry, also of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Friday 7 to 9pm, Saturday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Moncton Legion Branch # 6, Memorial Service Saturday 4pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, Sunday September 2, 2007, 1pm. Reception following the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
