Édith Joséphine SNYDER

MARCOUX (Snyder), Édith Joséphine Édith Marcoux est décédée en paix à l'âge de 78 ans ce mercredi 22 août 2007 au Centre de soins de santé Headwaters, Shelbourne, entourée de l'amour de sa famille et de ses amis ainsi que de la musique de ses enfants. Elle était la tendre et dévouée épouse de feu Bernard V. Marcoux et la mère qui a su inspirer Marianne et son époux Dr Jerry Cheney, Michel et son épouse Debra (Phillips), Louise et son époux Terry Phillips, Pierre et son épouse Lee Ann Cohen ainsi que Christine et son époux Earl Myers. Elle était la grand-mère bien-aimée de Michael, Christopher, Jana, Lea, Daniel, Lucan, Conar, Cara, Amise, Justin, Brittany, Celeste, Kurt et de Tyler. Elle a été précédée dans la mort par ses parents Frederick et Mathilda Snyder ainsi que par son frère Hans. Édith manquera grandement à ses trois autres frères Fred, Wilfred et Bert Snyder ainsi qu'à leurs épouses et enfants et aussi, à d'innombrables cousins, neveux, nièces et amis de la famille. La famille recevra les amis et la famille au Salon funéraire Doney à Shelbourne le 1er septembre de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 21 h. Le service funéraire aura lieu à la chapelle du salon funéraire le dimanche 2 septembre 2007 à 11 h. Surrounded by the love of her family and friends and the music of her children, Edith Marcoux died peacefully at the Headwaters Health Care Centre, Shelburne on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in her seventy-eighth year. Dedicated and loving wife of the late Bernard V. Marcoux and inspirational mother to Marianne and her husband Dr. Jerry Cheney, Michel and his wife Debra (Phillips), Louise and her husband Terry Phillips, Pierre and his wife Lee Ann Cohen and Christine and her husband Earl Myers. Beloved grandmother to Michael, Christopher, Jana Lea, Daniel, Lucan, Conar, Cara Amise, Justin, Brittany, Celeste, Kurt and Tyler. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Mathilda Snyder and her brother Hans. Edith will be sorely missed by her three other brothers Fred, Wilfred and Bert Snyder and their wives and children, as well as a myriad of cousins, nephews, nieces and family friends. The family will receive friends and family at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne on Saturday, September 1 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
