TRAINOR, James Edmund In Ottawa, Tuesday, August 14, 2007 after a six month struggle with cancer. Fondly remembered by sisters Mary Mackenzie of Charlottetown, P.E.I. and Joan Kuronen of Stoney Creek, Ont.; his brother Ralph of Burlington, Ont., and many nieces and nephews. Jim also leaves behind his loyal and loving friend, Marlyne Feeney, who has always supported him, especially in the last trying months. Predeceased by brother Weston and sisters Zeta, Ann McCabe and Marjorie Baxter. Jim was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. He taught at St. Patrick's College where he was known to his students as "Jet". After teaching, he became a Public Servant at the head office of the Unemployment Insurance Commission. He made good friends there and retired in 1990. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital and Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre for their care and support. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. W. (centretown) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to Canadian Martyrs Church, 100 Main St., for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation.
