CARR, E. Ruby Peacefully Thursday August 16, 2007 Ruby Carr at the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus in her 96th year. Predeceased by her parents J.J. Carr and Roseanne Brady; sisters Eileen (late Alex) McFadden, Catherine "Kitty" (Robert) Martin, Margaret "Peggy" (Emile) Gervais and nephew Robert J. Martin. Survived by her brother-in-law Robert N. "Bob" Martin; nieces and nephews Maureen (Ed) Irving, Karan (late Phil) O'Reilly, Paul (Sharon) Gervais and Rosann (Ron) Graham of Lapasse, ON. Also survived by a number of grand and great-grandnieces and nephews. Ruby was an avid tennis, golf and curling enthusiast and a former member of the ONECC, Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club and the Ottawa Curling Club. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. W. (centretown) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 12 noon Monday.Funeral Monday to Saint Patrick's Basilica (Kent at Nepean) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 1:30 p.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
