Mary Elizabeth GRANT

ALLAN, Mary Elizabeth (nee Grant) Born August 28th, 1917 in Sydney Nova Scotia, passed peacefully in her sleep in the comfort of her loving family on August 18th, 2007 in the Perth hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband of some 55 years, Benjamin Charles Wallace Allan. She was the loving mother of Peter (Andree) Allan, Jennifer (Bill) Raby and Heather (Mardi) Gagnon; caring grandmother of William (Sue Bertolo) Raby, Douglas (Marcelle Jordan) Raby, Erin (Tim Meagher) Gagnon, Christian Benjamin Gagnon and Alexandrine Demers-Allan and great-grandmother of Zachary William Raby, Katherine Anelina Raby and Benjamin Bertolo Raby. Dear sister of Rosalie, Alice, Raymond, Joseph and Toni (all predeceased) and Pauline and Thomas and endeared sister-in-law of Don, Frances and Helen. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth on Saturday August 25th 2007 at 3:30 P.M. for a celebration of Mary's life. A gathering with refreshments will follow in the funeral home Family Centre. The family suggest everyone dress brightly and casually. Those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations in Mary's memory to the Foundation of the Great War Memorial Hospital, 33 Drummond St. W., Perth K7H 2K1.
