Retired farmer and one of the founding members and field agent for Valley Mutual General Insurance. Beloved husband of 62 years, of Margaret (Elliott). Predeceased by infant son. Loving father of Jack (Elaine), Elwyn (Lynn) both of Shawville, Joan (David Rusenstrom) Bristol, Joyce (Donnie Trafford) Carp, Carol (Norman Beck) Kanata. Fun loving Grandpa of Ian (Terri), Paul (Melanie), Mark (Melissa), Robert (Krista), Ralph (Melanie), Andrew (Chrissy) Lang, Edward (Tara), Michael (Jenn), Stephen (Jenna), and Heather Rusenstrom, Sally (Shawn Fransky), Katie and Christopher Trafford, Graham (Jessica), Leah and Philip Beck. Great-grandpa of Grayson, Abbie, Payton, Kendal, Ryan, Marissa, Hannah, Beth, Carson and Reese. Youngest brother of Hazel (late Charles Schock) Shawville, and Rev. Cyrus (Rose) of Montreal. Predeceased by sisters Laura (Jim Murphy), Edith (Ervine Woods), Ethel (John Dagg) and brothers, Fred (Victoria), Gerald (Lillias) and Wallace (Inez). Dear brother-in-law of Ardley and Isobel Elliott, and Clayton and Frances Elliott, Ottawa. Fondly missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Friends may call at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday August 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, August 23rd, 2007 to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Radford, Quebec for Service at 11 a.m. Interment in the Village Cemetery.
