TROWBRIDGE, Stanley A. (Stan) (Retired - Bourk's Ignition) Suddenly, on Monday August 20, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife Maureen (Grimes) and his children, Judy Elliott (Bill), Dana, Scott (Shirley), Cheryl, Geoff (Alison) and Nancy Doan, along with 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Stanley A. (Ted) and Reba (Hill); and predeceased by his sister Verla Scott. Many thanks to the staff in the emergency room and the cancer clinic at the Ottawa Hospital General for all their care of Stan. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the chapel with interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or The University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
