MATHENY, GIACINTA "Jean" or "Jennie" (Colucci, nee Villarosa). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother at the age of eighty-six at Burloak Long Term Care Facility in Burlington ON, on Sunday, August 19, 2007. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and Al Daly of Burlington ON, Evelyn Robbins of Burlington ON and Linda Colucci and Bob Clayton of Napanee ON. Jean was predeceased by her dear husband Howard and son-in-law Art Robbins. Jean will be greatly missed by her brother Joe Villarosa and his wife Nina of Montreal QC, her granddaughters and their husbands, Dawn and Ross Chawsky of Point Claire QC, Debbie and Allan Langvee of Burlington ON, Dyanne and Martin Stutz of Boisbriand QC, her grandson and his wife, Matt and Melissa Berg of San Francisco CA and her great-grandchildren Amanda Blais, Jason and Erik Langvee, Ryan and Shaun Stutz, Chelsea and Colton Chawsky and little Baby Berg. A special thank you to the staff at Burloak Long Term Care for their kindness, patience and tender care. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
