PLEWIS, Alistair Leonard "Pops" A&H Records Apr. 10, 1941 - Aug. 16, 2007 After an interesting life and valiant struggle, at age 66, Al slipped away peacefully with his son at his side. Father to Andrew, brother to the late Ret'd Capt. Ian Plewis and Gillian & David, he is also remembered by extended family here and in Scotland. Al also leaves behind a host of friends, including Diane, Ed, Kathy, Heather and Steno. Funeral private, as he wished. A memorial gathering is being planned for a later date. In memoriam, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Society Assoc. is apprecaited. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 8/22/2007
