Jadwiga SZUMIELEWICZ

FOROWICZ, Jadwiga (nee Szumielewicz). On August 21, 2007, lost her long and heroic battle with illness. Dr. Forowicz taught economics at the University of Montreal, University of Quebec in Montreal, and University of Wroclaw, Poland. A talented academician and scholar, with a number of books published to her name both in Canada and Poland. She was the most wonderful and loving wife and mother, and leaves behind heartbroken husband Andrzej, and daughters Magdalena and Weronika. A funeral mass will take place on August 25, at 11 a.m. Church of Holy Trinity, 1660 Centre Street, Montreal. Interment will take place in Poland at a later date.
