DE LA MOTHE, Dr. John Professor and Canada Research Chair University of Ottawa Peacefully at home at the of age of 52. John is survived by: his brother Jim de la Mothe of St. Bruno, Quebec and his nieces; Laura Elizabeth (Gibson) -Upper Northfield, NS; Linda Marie de la Mothe - Kentville, NS; Lisa Anne (Anderson) - Nashville, Tenn; nephew Michael James - Ottawa, ON; great-nephew Evan Alan Gibson - Northfield, NS; and countless close friends and colleagues. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Tuesday, September 4 from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3 pm.
