BRODIE, Carrie Lou. (1928-2007). Carrie passed peacefully on August 22, 2007, just four days short of her seventy-ninth birthday. She leaves to mourn her beloved George and her loving family in Nova Scotia - Jean, Ian, Debbie, Colin and Arthur. There are hundreds of students and teachers who shall miss her as well. George wishes to express his gratitude to the staff at The Palace and the Community Nursing Home and to the kind physicians and nurses at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital. Carrie had requested that there be no Memorial Service. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the SPCA of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Carrie a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
