BROUGH, Mary Ellen (nee Pullen) Passed away peacefully at age 87 in her residence. Predeceased by her parents Muriel and Ernest and brother Peter (Enid) of Oakville. Caring wife for 60 years of the late James Norris, mother of Don (Susan) of Chatsworth, Laurie and grandmother to Christy of Calgary and Todd of New Haven, Conn. Raised in the foothills of Alberta, with strong family ties to Oakville she was a resident of Ottawa for over 50 years. Mary is fondly remembered as a determined, loyal and artistic contributor to family, friends and her community. She dedicated many years to the creation of The Canadian Ski Museum. For the past 3 1/2 years, Mary received loving care and companionship from the staff and residents of Mapleview Nursing Home. The family is sincerely grateful. Mary's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 29 in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Owen Sound. Interment at a later date in Ottawa.
