ALCOCK, Margaret Elizabeth (Steele) - died peacefully on Monday, August 27, 2007 at Trillium Villa, Sarnia, in her 92nd year. Loving mother of Bonnie Dobson (Frank) of Belleville, Charles Alcock of Sarnia and Robert Alcock (Anne Morgan) of Watford. Loved and missed by grandchildren Steven Tetlock of Belleville, Kathryn Alcock and Travis Alcock of Watford and two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Jaden Alcock. Dear sister of Jean Boland of Aurora and cousin of Frank Steele of Regina. Remembered by nieces and nephews and special friends. Predeceased by parents Laura and Allan Steele and husband Raymond (1975). Margaret was born in Regina and has lived in Sarnia since 1945. She was a dedicated piano teacher having achieved her ARCT certification at the early age of 17. An active member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association for many years, Margaret was recognized with the Special Teacher's Award by the ORMTA in Toronto in 1997. A service of remembrance will be held in the chapel of the STEWART FUNERAL HOME, 254 George Street, Sarnia.
