WALKER, John - Peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2007 in his 81st year, John Walker. Beloved husband of Amy (nee Laird). Loved father of Wendy (James), George (Michelle), and Janice Walker (Neil). Loving grandfather of Dylan, Nicholas, Alisdair and Malcolm. Dear brother of Kenneth of Scotland, U.K. and the late Mary Hannah. Also missed by nieces and nephews. John served with the Royal Highlanders Light Infantry 1946 to 1951 in Palestine with the Middle East Land Force and with the Royal Canadian Armed Forces 1951 to 1954 in Germany.
