BENN, Irene (nee Houle, formerly Barnes) - The family of Irene Benn, of Belleville and formerly of Napanee, sadly announce her death on Saturday, June 23, 2007, two weeks prior to her 93rd birthday. She is predeceased by husbands Garnet Barnes and Herchimer Benn. Left to mourn her loss are daughter Sally Barnes and son in law Fred Ross, of Kingston, granddaughter Lynne Ulrick (Dale), of Belleville, great grandsons Bill and Daniel Ulrick, siblings Helen Stanford (Jack) of Trenton and Peter Houle (Shirley) of Florida, and nephews Ted, Jack, Peter and Ron Jury. An avid sportsfan all her life and Maple Leafs and Blue Jays supporter, she was the lead cheerleader for her great grandsons' many athletic achievements. She was much loved and will be deeply missed. The family especially thanks all her wonderful caregivers who made it possible for her to remain in her own home. The family will receive friends at the WANAMAKER- TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, NAPANEE on Thursday June 28 from 11:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 o'clock noon. Rev.
