HATHERLEY, Kathryn (nee Hayes) - Passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Wednesday August 22, 2007 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband John, and sisters Margaret Durnford and Janet Rawlings. Loving mother of Ian Hatherley and Ann Whitworth of Oakville, and Maureen Hatherley and Glenn Nolan of Atikokan. Born in Wilkesport, Kathryn taught elementary school in Sarnia and vicinity. Over the years, Kathryn was active in CGIT and Explorers, Camp Kwasind, St. Christopher's Holly group, and the American Bell Association. Other interests included badminton, bridge, travel and delighting the neighbourhood children with her annual Hallowe'en cookies. Friends will be received prior to and following a memorial service to be held at St. Christopher's Anglican Church, 662 Guelph Line, Burlington, Ontario on Monday August 27th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. 10796413
