GASCOIGNE, Gordon Edmund - Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Bluewater Health-Norman St. Site, Sarnia on Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Gordon Edmund Gascoigne age 81 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of Josephine (Landon). Loving father of Larry Gascoigne and his wife Marilyn and Darlene Gosleigh and her husband John all of Corunna. Also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dear brother of Russel Gascoigne and his wife Valerie of Thunder Bay, Shirley Spicer and her husband Alan of Thunder Bay, Mary Lou Sippola of Hamilton and Gerry Gascoigne and his wife Susan of Portage-la-Prairie, Manitoba. Predeceased by his son Randy (1997) and his parents Edmund and Hester. Gord retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years of service, was a longtime member of Corunna United Church and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at his cottage on Mason Lake. Friends will be received at the KNIGHT FUNERAL HOME, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday. Interment to follow in Moore-Union Cemetery.
