BARCROFT, Leonard Charles - At Bluewater Health Mitton Street Site, Sarnia on Saturday, June 30, 2007 Leonard Charles Barcroft, age 93, formerly of Sombra. Leonard was a W.W.II veteran, retired from Polysar and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Isabel Barcroft (2005). Loved father of Gerald Barcroft and his wife Diane, Ronald Barcroft and his wife Barbara, David Barcroft and his wife Barbara and Leonard Barcroft Jr. and his wife Janet. Dear grandfather of Lisa and Jeff Hinnegan, Christine and Shawn McLachlan, Todd Barcroft and Katie Young, Scott and Heather Barcroft, Greg Barcroft and Annette Vella-Zarb, Mike Barcroft, Kellie Barcoft and Mark Goodman, Jay Cromie and Jessica Varga, Shannon and William Suirida and Rebecca Carrick. Great grandfather of David, Laura and Micheal Hinnegan, Richard Oliver, Jennifer and Kenny Pumfrey, Stacy Young, Steven and William Barcroft, Julie, Mary and Jack Suirida, Ashley Vella-Zarb and the late Abigayle Carrick. Dear brother of Roland. Predeceased by sisters Rose, Violet, Lilly, Flory, Eveline and by brother Arthur. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Anglican Church, 1194 Murphy Road, Sarnia. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Wednesday afternoon 2-4 p.m. and evening 7-9 p.m. Sympathy through donations to the Bluewater Health Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
