PAGE, Marilyn (Mamie) Jean (Hendrie) - At the Toronto General Hospital on Monday, July 9, 2007 following an arduous and courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, Marilyn (Mamie) Jean (Hendrie) Page, age 70 of Point Edward passed away. Cherished wife of 49 years of Jack and loving and devoted mother of Elizabeth Page and her husband Michael Waun and treasured Gramma of Justin and Nolan. She is also survived by her wonderful siblings, Joanne McCabe of St. Catharines, Marjorie Huggett and her husband Robert of Point Edward, Bud Hendrie and his wife Iline of Point Edward, Maureen Young and her husband Dave of St. Catharines. Much loved niece of Larry Grimes of Sarnia and Florence Egan and her husband Ron from Belleville. Also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. Mamie will be sadly missed by a wealth of close friends from her childhood, married life and her newly acquired dear friends with the Toronto General Hospital Lung Transplant Program. She was predeceased by her parents Rowe and Alice Hendrie and Bernice Page, daughters Linda and Ellen, son Larry and son in law David and brother Jimmy Hendrie. A celebration of Mamie's life will be held from the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Friday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. Interment of ashes will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the service begins. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciat donations to the Sarnia Organ Donors Awareness (SODA), The Toronto General Hospital Lung Transplant Treadmill Room (200 Elizabeth St., Toronto, ON., M5G 2C4) or a charity of your choice (cheques only please).
