LAUR, Leslie Kellam - Surrounded by his loving family, Leslie Kellam Laur age 83 of Sarnia, passed away on Saturday, July 14th, 2007 at Vision Nursing Home, now reunited with his beloved wife Velma. Dear father of Leslie J. Laur and his wife Susan, Debbie Whittall and her husband David, Denise Mills and her husband Terry, Tim Laur and his wife Cathy, Donna Praill and her husband Jeremy and Lloyd Dicker all of Sarnia. Nine grandchildren also survived, 3 brothers Wifred, Stan, Jim and 2 sisters-in- law Jean and Doreen Laur and Marion Watts and her husband George of Fredericton N.B. Mr. Laur proudly served as a carpenter in the Navy during WW II. Following the war, Les returned to Sarnia where he continued his career as a carpenter. A celebration of Les' life will take place in the chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME, on Wednesday, July 18th at 11:00 a.m. with Angela MacDonald officiating with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from the hours of 7-9 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the V.O.N. or Vision Nursing Home (cheques only please).
