BARCROFT, Roland Ernest - Peacefully at Bluewater Health – Mitton St. Site, on Tuesday July 17, 2007 Roland Ernest Barcroft age 89 of Sarnia. Roland was a veteran of WWII, a longtime member of the Sarnia Yacht Club and an avid fisherman, hunter and skier. Special uncle to Bert and Bob Hurlock and Joyce Hansford. Survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Rose, Violet, Lilly, Flory and Eveline and brothers Arthur and Leonard. The funeral service will be held Friday July 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. and evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice.
